Kyoto Botanical Garden

Those who have followed the blog know that I love botanical gardens. The Kyoto BG was first opened in 1924. As so things in Japan did, it fell into disrepair in 1946 after the war. It has been run professionally again since 1961 and is quite impressive in its scope.

  1. The colors in the first shot are amazing – it looks altered. What a lovely garden. Are they expensive to visit? Or free to the public?
